About

Skindepilex

Skindepilex is an independent, research-driven resource dedicated to helping people understand face serums and the science behind skincare ingredients. We don’t sell products, and we don’t accept sponsorships — our only goal is to make skincare information clearer, more honest, and easier to act on.

Our Story

Skindepilex started from a simple frustration: skincare advice online is either buried in marketing language or too technical to actually use. Serum labels are full of ingredient names most people can’t decode, and “expert” reviews are often written by the same brands selling the product.

We built Skindepilex to close that gap — a place where you can learn what an ingredient actually does, how serums are formulated, and how to evaluate skincare claims for yourself, without a sales pitch attached.

OUR Mission

we strive to educate with honesty, clarity, AND evidence.

Skincare shouldn’t require a chemistry degree to understand. Our mission is to break down face serum ingredients, formulations, and routines into information that’s accurate, easy to follow, and free of commercial bias.

We believe:

  • Readers deserve plain language, not jargon disguised as authority.
  • Skincare education should be independent — not funded by the brands it evaluates.
  • Claims should be traceable to real research, not just repeated because they’re popular.

Our Approach to Content

How we Research

  • Every article on Skindepilex is built around publicly available dermatological and cosmetic chemistry research, ingredient safety data, and formulation science. When we describe how an ingredient works, we explain the mechanism — not just repeat a marketing claim.

What We Don’t Do

  • We don’t sell skincare products
  • We don’t run affiliate links or sponsored posts
  • We don’t accept payment for favorable coverage
